Laurie has the power of nostalgia, which is just a fancy way of saying she can access other people's memories and force them to relive them. She does this through eye contact, and she has no control over the nature of the memories she accesses. And, as an added bonus, she also has to relive the memories. Whether it's something as awesome as your first kiss, as traumatic as watching your parents get gunned down by masked murderers, or as mundane as that one time you and your sister fed ducks at the park, Laurie can force you and herself to experience the moment all over again.
